National training and logistics centre of Bulgarian Red Cross - Lozen (NTLC-Lozen)
Bulgarian Red CrossThe NTLC in Lozen has 10 (11) training classroom/ halls that are situated in three (four) different places and their capacity with respected places is as follows: - Conference part – 6 halls with capacity of: 3 hall for 25 people, 1 hall for 30 people, 1 hall for 40 people, 1 hall for 150 people/// - School for First aid – 2 halls with capacity of 10 and 25 people – one of the classrooms is equipped for paramedics training, the other one is equipped also for care – givers training. Both halls cam be used for all kind of trainings or for specialized as per their equipment/// - ‘Entertainment zone’ – 2 classroom with capacity of 30 and 150 people. The place can be used either for training or for entertainment during the day or during the evenings with a fireplace inside of the facility, place for organizing evening events and/ or dance events/// - In case of need, one more hall (the 11th) can be used with capacity of 20 people that is situated in the Protected home for socially disadvantaged young people which is also in the area of the NTLC – Lozen/// - Emergency operational center – an active EOC that can be used for simulations, table top exercise or else/// - The listed halls above are all inside facilities for holding trainings – the outside options are extended and can be either in open air, tents, sheds or else and can be more than ten more with different capacity – all situated in the area of the NTLC – Lozen. In addition and if needed, some parts of the National warehouse that is situated next to the NTLC – Lozen and is part of the logistical capacity of the BRC can be also use for trainings or simulations/ exercises///
Additional facilities within the Training centre are: - Two tennis courts’ - Helipad; - Chapel; - Inside fire place; - Outside fire place; - A lot of green yards; - Camping places; - Camper vans and tents possibility (self – sustainable option); - Grocery store on walking distance of 1 km; - National warehouse of the BRC; - Protected home (PH) for young people from socially disadvantaged families or situation – this is for your information – the main goal of the PH is integration so the existence of the social service and holding trainings or simulations is not in contradiction or a red line. - First aid school; - Emergency operational center; - Polygon for fire and road safety; - Earthquake simulator; - Entertainment area; Please note that the bar is self – service and is in the ‘Entertainment area’ where the disco mentioned above is also situated, together with the fire place; Transportation can be arranged- also pickups from the airport or elsewhere;
